Seen in Bonaire

The brown encrusting octopus sponge, Ectyoplasia ferox

A coral and sponge community on the Hilma Hooker

A tarpon, Megalops atlanticus. There are a lot more tarpons in Bonaire this year than previously, so the population must be doing well.

A bearded fire worm, Hermodice carunculata. I cropped the photo and edited the colors so you could see the worm better, but it definitely degraded the quality. Fire worms are really neat organisms. If you touch one of their spines, it's extremely painful.

A branching vase sponge, Callyspongia vaginalis
